I am one of many people for whom creation can be a path to God. The psalmist here clearly felt that way.
I wrote this many years ago now, but was moved again by the words on a recent retreat to Turvey Abbey when I came across a beautiful tapestry using the same text.
Psalm 19 v1-4
How clearly the sky reveals God’s glory!
How plainly it shows what he has done!
Each day announces it to the following day,
Each night repeats it to the next.
They have no speech, there are no words,
No sound is heard;
Yet their message goes out to all of the world,
And is heard to the ends of the earth.
